Them and You

Have you seen the moon when she is full and creamy white?
She gazes at you from the sky and infuses you with a warmth that's cooling...
Have you seen the sun when he sets at the rim of an ocean?
He melts and melts and implores you to watch him till he's nothing but a sheet of hue on the body of the sea...
Have you heard the bird that sings at your window?
She narrates tales of lands where golden fruits and silver flowers dangle from satin trees...
Have you seen the sky when night strolls in from the day?
She is like a silken blanket studded with diamonds, crystals and lace...
Have you seen the ocean when day has peaked to its heights?
You will find little starlets and the sun's raylets leaping above each other on the sea's body, shimmering, glimmering...
Have you seen the cows grazing in the lush, green fields?
Their luminous eyes and nodding heads speak tales of fortitude and patient endurance...
Have you seen a farmer pasturing his land?
His taut labouring body gleams and shines like a glowing flame and he smiles in the face of toil...
Have you seen the women bending like upside-down u's in a paddy field?
Their flushed beauty is pure like their souls and their work roughened hands try to cover their shynesses...
Have you seen you like I see you?
You are tender, sensitive, perceptive with a radiance that lights my soul and seeps out of each pore that my body claims as its own...
